The Project
CAA’s new mobile tire change program made seasonal maintenance easier than ever for members, but they needed visuals that could communicate the service’s convenience and reliability in a single glance.
Cool Koala led the entire production, from concept planning and lighting design to on-location execution and post-production. Our team of three (a photographer, digital imaging technician, and assistant) shot on location in St. Catharines using a mix of natural light and strobes to achieve clean, dynamic lighting that balanced authenticity with commercial polish.
It was a cold, grey April morning, but through careful lighting control and detailed retouching, we transformed the scenes into warm, spring-like imagery with crisp skies and inviting tones. The result was a cohesive, brand-aligned campaign ready for everything from paid ads to magazine spreads.
The Results
The campaign quickly rolled out across Ontario, with visuals adopted by multiple CAA regions and clubs. The images have since appeared in CAA Magazine, across websites, blogs, social media, and provincial ad campaigns. Seven years later, they’re still in use: proof that great creative holds its value long after delivery.
