The Project
When Norwell Consumer Healthcare approached us about promoting Hemovel, their oral treatment for hemorrhoids, we knew the challenge wasn’t just production: it was tone. Talking about hemorrhoids is tricky. People don’t want to hear about it, but when they need help, they want a solution that feels credible, human, and maybe even a little funny.
We built a full-scale national bilingual campaign featuring pharmacist and author Sherry Torkos, blending expert authority with an approachable sense of humor. The scripts leaned into relatability: lines like “Ever feel like you’re sitting on a prickly throne?” while keeping the delivery professional and trustworthy.
To bring it all to life, we used our innovative hybrid virtual production setup to craft a bright, clean pharmacy setting without the cost or limitations of a physical set.
Each video was localized for English and French markets and adapted into multiple formats (16:9, 9:16, and 4:5) for Meta Ads, Amazon listings, connected TV, and programmatic placements. With variations tailored to different audiences, placements, and packaging versions, the campaign delivered over 97 individual assets.
Our in-house team managed everything from creative direction and copywriting to editing, graphics, and mastering, turning a once-taboo topic into a national conversation that was friendly, educational, and impossible to scroll past.
